What is an editorial calendar and why do you need one?
As an official #LinkedInCreator, I know the importance of working from an editorial calendar. Once you have determined the purpose and strategy for publishing content (including articles, audio and visual content, newsletters, and social media posts), you need a system to put that strategy into action.
The term “editorial calendar” is derived from how editors of newspapers and other periodicals planned the stories for their publications, including when everything would appear.
Just like corporate editors, keeping your content flowing and consistent necessitates the use of an editorial calendar. Setting up and using an editorial calendar gives you four primary benefits:
